About the Project

Travaxy is the world’s first travel and booking platform designed to empower people with disabilities and senior citizens by providing a simple and efficient way to plan and book accessible trips. This long-term project was developed for an Israeli start-up in the tourism industry, focusing on innovative solutions for inclusive travel.

Project Scope:
The platform was built from scratch to address a unique challenge: there were no existing platforms catering to the diverse needs of people with disabilities for booking flights, hotels, and related services. Prior to Travaxy, reservations for this demographic were typically limited to phone-based bookings, offering restricted options and minimal transparency.

The platform integrates third-party APIs for flights and hotels, ensuring seamless communication and booking capabilities.
