About the role:
We are seeking a mid-level Algorithmic Engineer to lead the design and development of a computational engine within a Flask environment. In this role, you will focus on algorithmic and computational geometry challenges, leveraging your Python expertise and strong academic foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of a computational engine built on top of Flask.
- Develop and maintain algorithmic solutions with a focus on computational geometry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., data science, product management) to integrate and optimize computational components.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
- Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
Position Requirements:
- Experience with computational geometry algorithms.
- Experience in Python with the ability to write maintainable code.
- Basic understanding of vector and matrix arithmetic.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Flask or other web frameworks (not required, but beneficial).
- Knowledge of linear algebra libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
